I’ve been the harbormaster since 2010. The Port of Milwaukee is a department of the city of Milwaukee municipality. Currently have 40 years in city employment. Port Milwaukee is a great port on a great lake–Lake Michigan. I like that every day is different, always new challenges. The weather changes from season to season is something I like. Beautiful summer days to frigid frozen lake and river. Ice breaking is a blast.
