Robert “Buster” Ganem has been working tirelessly for the boating community in Somerset, MA since 1991. Ensuring safety and fun on the local waters. He is also an Hero, in 2017 at an OPA Race here on the River, one of the racers flipped over and was stuck under the boat. Buster dove in, freed the man, got him on his patrol boat and performed CPR, saving his life.
The Town of Somerset is Lucky to have him as their Harbormaster and we hope he continues to serve for many more years.
